Opt-out & Privacy Request
Use this page to have your professional details removed from Freelvy, or to exercise any other right you hold over them. One request covers every Freelvy customer at once.
Why your details may be here
Freelvy helps businesses find other businesses. To do that it collects professional information (job title, employer, business email, direct line) from publicly accessible sources, official registries and licensed providers. Most of it is public and work-related, but under the GDPR it is still personal data, and you hold rights over it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not build profiles of people outside their professional life. The full detail of what we hold, where it comes from and on which legal basis is in section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the GDPR gives you the right to:
- Object to the processing of your data for prospecting, this right is absolute, we do not weigh it against our own interest.
- Access the data we hold about you, and be told which source it came from.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased.
- Restrict processing, or receive your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your national supervisory authority.
If you are in a US state with a privacy law (California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and others) you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, request access, deletion or correction, and you will not be treated differently for exercising those rights.
Send your request
Email contact@freelvy.com with the details below. The button opens a message with the right fields already laid out, fill in what applies and send it.
- Your first and last name.
- The company you work for.
- The email addresses and phone numbers you want suppressed.
- A link to your professional profile, if you have one.
- The country you are in.
- Which right you are exercising.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request when we receive it.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, this protects you from someone else impersonating you.
- We answer within one month for GDPR requests and within 45 days for US state law requests. Complex requests can extend by two further months, and we tell you inside the first month if that happens.
- Suppressed records are not simply deleted: they go on a permanent do-not-contact list so the same details cannot be re-sourced by a later crawl.
- The suppression applies across every Freelvy customer workspace, not only the one that contacted you.
- If we cannot act on your request, we explain why and how to escalate.
If a Freelvy customer emailed you
Campaign emails are sent from our customers' own mailboxes, so the sender is the customer, not us. You can reply to them directly to be removed from that campaign, or send us the request here, and we will suppress your details for every customer at once, which is the more complete option.
